I am originally from Florida and attended the University of Central Florida where I earned a Bachelor’s in Public Administration. After graduation, I relocated to Chicago, Illinois to attend the University of Chicago where I earned a Masters in Social Service Administration. Professionally, I currently work in resource development for a community health center and have experience in a wide range of areas including public health, community development, and homelessness issues. Because of my background, and my personal fascination with city living, I have created The Heart of a City to unpack the many factors that drive the city experience throughout the United States and around the world.
